Avv. Alfonso Napoli graduated in Law at the University of Palermo.
He advises international clients, including corporations, governments and trade associations on customs laws and in various areas of international trade law such as economic sanctions and export control, commercial defence and regulations on excise duties and green taxation.
He helps clients with customs issues in a way that aligns with the clients’ other tax and business objectives.
In particular, the legal assistance concerns: advice on all aspects of import and export of goods and services; Handle all customs duties, including classification, quotas, customs valuation and mitigation of penalties Trade defence (anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguards); Export and import controls; Tariff and non-tariff based trade barriers; Rules of origin; Food and product safety; Packaging and labeling; advice on important aspects of EU customs compliance practices; Handle all communications on behalf of our clients with the relevant local Authorities, including but not limited to Italian local Custom Authority (Agenzia delle Dogane) to satisfy compliance regulations and to achieve successful release of goods.
